Ingredients for 8 pieces:
1 pack phyllo pastry sheets
200 g butter, melted
200 g White Granulated Sugar SUGARTIA
1/2 tsp cinnamon
For the apples:
2 apples, grated
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp fresh ginger
4 tbsp White Granulated Sugar SUGARTIA
For the cream:
250 g heavy cream
2 eggs
4 tbsp White Granulated Sugar SUGARTIA
For serving:
Icing Sugar SUGARTIA
Prepare the baking dish you will use by brushing it with a little melted butter.
Lay out the first phyllo sheet, brush it with a little butter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Fold it, roll it up and place it in the baking dish.
Continue in the same way with the remaining phyllo sheets.
Using a spoon, create a small hollow in each roll.
In a bowl, mix the grated apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, fresh ginger and White Granulated Sugar SUGARTIA.
Fill the rolls with the apple mixture you prepared.
Bake for about 15 minutes at 180°C.
In a bowl, add the heavy cream, eggs and White Granulated Sugar SUGARTIA and mix well.
Pour the mixture into the baking dish with the rolls and continue baking for another 25 minutes.
Dust with Icing Sugar SUGARTIA and serve.
